Swing state poll shows surge in youth support for candidate
Kamala Harris has seen a surge in popularity from young voters in battleground states in the weeks since President Joe Biden dropped out of the race, a new poll shows.
The survey from the Democrat-alignedWon't Pac Down found the vice president's approval rating has jumped 16 points among 18 to 29 year olds since the beginning of July.
Harris also received rousing support from Nancy Pelosi at a fundraiser in San Francisco, hours after Biden named her as one of the Democrats who plotted to push him out.
The latest results follow a vicious weekend in the campaign whereDonald Trump tore into Harris for copying his idea to not tax tips and J.D. Vance ramped up the 'stolen valor' accusations against Tim Walz over his military record.
