Easy Ice Cream Sundae & Banana Pancake Roll-Ups

Easy Ice Cream Sundae & Banana Pancake Roll-Ups
Like so. And then just cut. We're just going to set them aside while we work on our next step. So this is a great way to use the last little bits of your nest. Quick, I have some strawberry and chocolate and I have some batter that I'm just going to pour right into the container like so you can find the recipe for this batter at chefclub.tv and we're just going to give this a mix. So we have our strawberry, we have our chocolate, we have our vanilla. It's time to start adding to our ice cube tray, and you'll see why we're using this in just a moment. So the colored batter has a tendency to sort of overpower the vanilla batter. So I'm going to add slightly more of the vanilla batter than the others, just so we have a really nice mixture of our colors. Feel free to play around with that in whatever configuration you'd like. Now we have a hot plancha that has already been greased, and I'm just going to carefully pour this over the top, like so you can see we're getting a really cool marbleization effect on the batter. That's exactly what we want. So we're gonna let this set for just a little bit. On this side, you'll see some air bubbles starting to come up and that's when you'll know it's ready to turn. Both sides are cooked. We're going to gently remove this to our cutting board so we're ready to move on to our next step. I'm going to take half a banana and just skewer it through the middle like so. And chocolate chips that we're just gonna press into the fruit can do as many or as few as you like. So we're going to just place this right here on our pancake and I'm going to roll this up like so and then just cut. We're just going to set them aside while we work on our next step. So some vanilla ice cream that I'm going to scoop the top half out into. Small scoops like that. Great activity for the kids to pitch in and help. Alright, so once you have all of your balls of ice cream on your plate, we're going to take our ice cream container and cut around this edge of the bottom to remove it. You'll see why this is a nice technique as we move on to the next step. Can take that off and then we're going to place it on top of this glass Just to help us push this off. Take our 4th and then immediately dunk it in our melted chocolate with almonds. Coat it nicely but leaving the top just ice cream. And then we're going to transfer it to our parchment covered plate and immediately pop this in the freezer. Some fudge sauce 1st and just do some quick drizzles like so across the top onto the plates a little bit on our bananas and we've got some of our reserved crushed almonds, some more chocolate chips and then of course no sundae is complete without some cherries on top. And there you have it, Neapolitan wrapped bananas and a ice cream sundae match made in heaven.
