Andrea Brillantes' Fun Print Outfits in Bangkok, Thailand
Traveling isn’t simply about crossing another country off your bucket list. It’s about experiencing a culture outside of your own, often by visiting different sites, trying out local dishes, and experiencing their different cultural activities. But for fashion girls, you can take the experience further by styling yourself in the country’s traditional prints and garments. That’s exactly whatAndrea Brillantes did on her recent trip to Bangkok.
Andrea Brillantes’ Bangkok Travel Lookbook
1. Printed Top + White Bandeau + Wrap Skirt
While exploring the Wat Samphran Dragon Temple, Andrea put her own spin on the traditional Chut Thai (Thai outfit) by leaving the top unbuttoned and exposing an inner white tube. She then paired it with a printed wrap-around skirt, reminiscent of a Chong Kben (a lower-body wrap-around garment traditionally made from silk). Completing her look, she accessorized with equally colorful jewelry and hair pompoms, finishing it with a neutral FendiBy The Way bag.
2. Bodycon Dress + White Heels
Visiting one of Thailand’s most aesthetically pleasing cafes, the Bubble in the Forest Cafe, Blythe went for a simple yet striking striped bodycon dress. The beige, white, and blue stripes perfectly complemented her sunkissed skin, and she even matched it with a cute blue floral hair clamp and white heels.
3. Floral Dress + Purse + Bayonetta Glasses
On a night out in Chinatown, Andrea dressed in hues of red and gold, matching it with a red purse, flower necklace, and dangling earrings. In true Gen Z fashion, she wore her Bayonetta glasses, adding her own youthful flair to the ensemble.
4. Silk Dress
Andrea partied the night away in a blue silk dress, taking inspiration from the Chakkri, a traditional Thai dress composed of a long tube skirt and Sabai (a shawl top draped over one shoulder, leaving the other exposed).
