Premier League winner tells Arsenal to sign Serie A striker
Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit advised Mikel Arteta to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli this summer.
The Nigerian forward is expected to move on from the Serie A side this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and other big sides all reportedly keen.
That includes Arsenal, who may need to upgrade on current striker Gabriel Jesus.
Speaking to Boyle Sports, who offer the latest Euro 2024 betting Petit believes Arsenal should move for Osimhen.
He said: “I think Arsenal need a 30-goal striker to finally win the Premier League and that man could be Victor Osimhen, who has been amazing with Lille then Napoli.
“His dream is to come to England and he could be brilliant here. He’s physically so strong and is an out and out number nine, so he’d be my first choice.
“But as I mentioned, I also think Rashford would be a great addition as he can play out wide and up front. To compete with Man City, Arsenal need four more players, though.
“City can bring on five players with incredible quality and right now, Arsenal can’t, so they need to have a busy summer ahead.”
