College Football 25 Includes Important Feature

EA Sports College Football 25 will include a popular feature on Xbox consoles and possibly PlayStation 5 as well.

Now, EA has shared plenty more College Football 25details. Its flagship Dynasty mode allows users to create their own coach and control a program from the ground up, meaning users will hire their own coaching staff, manage recruiting efforts, and dictate their team's playstyle as they vie for a spot in the playoffs. The Road To Glory mode utilizes a more focused approach by letting players create their own student athlete, who will need to have their weekly schedules, GPA, and image managed. Road To Glory also includes a "Coach Trust" feature that influences playing time and a transfer portal option if users aren't happy in their current program. College Football 25's third main mode, Road to the College Football Playoff, is a competitive option that sees players choose a university and "progress and level up" through divisions in exchange for beating tough opponents as they fight for a National Championship.

College Football 25's Four Main Modes

  • Dynasty - Create a coach and control a program from the ground up
  • Road To Glory - Create a student athlete and manage their day-to-day life and on-the-field play
  • Road to the College Football Playoff - "Progress and level up" through divisions as the user vies for a National Championship, described by EA as a more competitive option
  • College Football Ultimate Team - Build a team by unlocking current stars as well as legends to play in H2H Seasons, Solo Challenges, and the Champs Gauntlet

In keeping with Madden's Ultimate Team, College Football 25 features its own iteration of the mode. College Football Ultimate Team includes current college stars along with legends, who can be used to build all-star teams to play Solo Challenges, H2H Seasons, and the Champs Gauntlet.

EA also detailed a trio of features coming to College Football 25. A wear-and-tear system affects individual players as a game progresses, requiring the user to manage their health, fatigue, and injury risk by using substitutions at the right times. The pre-snap recognition feature allows the user to read the field and their own stars before a play to choose whether to audible or to focus on certain players. Additionally, a homefield advantage feature adds an extra dimension for away teams, as they must battle against screen shakes, missing pre-play icons, and moving play art when the home crowd is at their loudest.

College Football 25 also places lots of emphasis on school traditions, with EA confirming that teams will have unique run-outs, rivalry rituals, and crowd chants to help recreate the sport's electrifying spirit. Some of the chants were recorded using real, game-day audio, and schools' fight songs will also be heard in-game.
