It was a collared, sleeveless piece with beige buttons all down the center—the bottom half of which Hathaway left unbuttoned, revealing her long legs.

While the floor-length dress could be a piece one wears on the beaches of Cannes, France, or on the streets of New York City in spring, Hathaway gave it the ultimate red-carpet spin by layering it over a sheer white corset bodysuit. The strapless corset had a cupped bra, white boning. and a see-through bodice. Hathaway continued the monochrome scheme with pointy white pumps.

But what truly elevated the ensemble was the Princess Diaries star’s jewelry: an incredible white diamond choker with a giant sapphire in the middle, plus matching diamond cluster earrings, a wrap-around diamond bracelet, and some diamond and sapphire rings. She wore blush makeup and a glossy nude manicure, while her dark hair was down in silky waves.
