Paul Murray breaks down Labor’s ‘lack of performance’ in Newspoll

Sky News host Paul Murray says the most likely and logical outcome for Labor at the next election is “minority government”.

Voters are deserting the Albanese government with Peter Dutton closing in as the preferred Prime Minister, according to Monday's Newspoll in The Australian.

“The numbers are really tight ... because of the lack of performance from the government on actually dealing with the issue that you care about which is cost of living,” Mr Murray said.

“Then telling you that a few crumbs off the table is the greatest meal you’ve ever had in your life and the Australian public says, ‘uh, no’.”
